The YMCA is generously providing childcare free of charge to our HOTC Day Volunteers. All youth under the age of 16 that are at project sites must be accompanied by an adult. It is highly recommended that children 12 and under be brought to the YMCA when project sites or activities are not be appropriate for younger kids. For everyone’s safety, please check with our office before bringing a young child to a project site.
Babies and young toddlers who are not potty-trained will be cared for at the Everett Milton YMCA at 103 S. Dawson St/226-3446. You may drop your child off as early as 8:00 am ; pick up is no later than 1:00 pm. Please arrive early as YMCA Staff are generously donating their time on HOTC Day. You will need to sign your child in and out at the YMCA.
Toddlers who are potty-trained and youth up to age 12 will be cared for at the Butler Mason YMCA Child Care Center at 1304 Remington Avenue/226-6082. The Junior Service League will help your children work on various volunteer projects such as: Packaging toiletry kits for Halcyon Home, creating cards for soldiers for the Red Cross, and building kits that strengthen construction skills for our future volunteer force. You may drop your child off as early as 8:00 am; pick up is no later than 1:00 pm. Please arrive early as YMCA Staff are generously donating their time on HOTC Day.
